Nisha Kewalramani
Nisha is committed to living her path as an embodied spirit, blending both eastern and western practices into one.
Nisha is a certified Body-Mind Centering® (BMC®) teacher, deeply influenced by her teacher and BMC® founder, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. Her work is rooted in the reawakening of cellular consciousness through touch and movement—a core principle of the BMC® approach. Nisha is also trained in Infant Developmental Movement Education and works closely with babies, supporting early developmental processes.
Born in India, Nisha brings a deep curiosity about her roots and ancient Indian traditions to her practice. This lifelong inquiry has inspired her continued study of Iyengar Yoga, Buddhist practices, and Ayurveda.
In addition to her somatic and spiritual explorations, Nisha is a licensed massage therapist and has completed advanced training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis.
Drawing from a rich tapestry of teaching and learning experiences, Nisha maintains a private practice in New York City, where she offers individualized sessions that integrate movement, touch, and embodied inquiry.
